Electronic Warfare and Electronic Countermeasures (EW/ECM) Technologies

CACI’s EW/ECM suite of technologies is used by our Department of Defense (DoD) customers in some of the most demanding environments around the globe. Our customers require operationally responsive, resilient, and rugged EW, cyber, and ECM technologies and equipment to meet their missions. Our world-class radio frequency (RF) hardware designers and engineers produce innovative designs for hardware, software, antennas, and other components built to perform in demanding scenarios.

CACI’s mission-experienced EW, cyber, and ECM technical talent is expert in designing and rapidly fielding unique solutions that enhance performance and operational capability. Our team has extensive design experience with a wide range of frequencies, as well as experience designing and integrating tactical equipment with complex waveforms. We develop signal processing software for unique tasks like position tracking and signal classification. Our core competencies include:

  • Industrial and mechanical design for EW, cyber, and ECM capabilities for a range of missions
  • High volume manufacturing of complex software defined radio (SDR) capabilities
  • Designing and building RF technologies that adhere to the strictest security requirements
  • Extensive experience with National Security Agency (NSA) Type 1 product design for U.S. Government customers who need cryptographic equipment, components, or hardware for encrypting and decrypting classified or sensitive national security information

CACI’s RF hardware design team produces a range of size, weight, and power (SWaP)-optimized solutions for our customers across mission sets. From mobile, maritime, and airborne EW/ECM to body-worn electronic support (ES)/electronic attack (EA) technologies, our portfolio delivers tailored capabilities for uncompromising missions around the world. We also develop hardware and equipment to support these capabilities, such as lightweight, portable direction-finding (DF) antennas, wearable tactical antennas, and power amplification for EW/EA systems. Beast

Our widely deployed and operationally-proven dismount multichannel receiver, Beast performs survey, drive test, and surveillance of multiple push-to-talk and cellular protocols.
