Michael S. Lewis, CFA

Michael S. Lewis is Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for CACI International Inc. In this role, he supports the company’s strategic focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as a driving force in CACI’s growth.

Prior to his arrival at CACI, Mr. Lewis served as Senior Vice President, Government Services Aerospace & Defense investment banking at Seabury Group, LLC. Prior to this, he was co-founder and Managing Director of Silverline Group LLC, a defense and government services consulting firm specializing in M&A due diligence activities, and Silverline Capital Group LLC, an entity focused on M&A transactions.

From 2002 through 2012, Mr. Lewis held senior equity analyst positions covering aerospace & defense, defense technology, intelligence and federal government information services at Lazard Capital Markets and BB&T Capital Markets. His earlier experience in equity research included several years with Wachovia Securities and Interstate/Johnson Lane.

Mr. Lewis has also been honored by the Financial Times and Wall Street Journal as a top analyst for his stock-picking acumen and industry expertise. In 2009, The Financial Times ranked Mr. Lewis the #1 U.S.-based stock picker in the Information Technology sector and #2 U.S.-based stock picker in the Aerospace & Defense industry. The Wall Street Journal ranked him the #2 U.S.-based stock picker in the Aerospace & Defense industry and #3 U.S.-based stock picker in the Information Technology sectors.

In 2008, The Wall Street Journal ranked Mr. Lewis the #1 U.S.-based stock picker in the Aerospace & Defense industry, and The Financial Times ranked him the #3 U.S.-based stock picker in the Aerospace & Defense industry.

Mr. Lewis earned a bachelor of business administration in finance from the University of Georgia, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter-holder.
