Special Operations and Asymmetric Solutions
CACI's Special Operations and Asymmetric Solutions Group (SOAS) delivers capabilities and support solutions for our special operations forces (SOF), Intelligence Community (IC), and law enforcement customers. SOAS is renowned for bringing the expertise of our motivated, innovative professionals to bear on our customers' most difficult challenges and requirements, using cutting-edge practices, tools, and technologies.
Enhanced Solutions for Advanced Missions
The SOAS Group provides services requiring high degrees of domain expertise. These include: special operations mission support, intelligence analysis and targeting support, threat assessment and mitigation, training development and delivery, sensitive activity support, and federal law enforcement support.
Our experts apply CACI's Tradecraft Tailored to Operations® (T3O) framework to provide mission-focused staffing and skill sustainment. We align talent to specific mission sets, rapidly adapt to changing requirements, and offer enhanced capabilities to perform advanced mission operations.
SOAS Vetting and Selection - How We Stand Apart
Our reputation reflects our skilled workforce, and the SOAS Group's employee vetting and selection process is key to our success. Candidates for employment must pass a deliberate, behavioral science-based assessment and selection screening, powered by a resume-free web-based application. This initial step is followed by a series of competency-based screenings and interviews with behavioral experts, SOAS Group leaders, and subject matter experts.
Our process is competitive and highly selective – only one in 20 candidates pass the first cut, and only a small percentage of those successfully complete the second phase. We look for candidates who:
- Hold values that fit our team
- Have depth in multiple skill sets
- Are driven to solve hard problems
- Exhibit self-discipline in thought and action
- Have empathy and respect for others
- Come to us with exemplary professional reputations
- Are agile and commited to keeping their skills current and relevant
We provide operations and intelligence subject matter experts who leverage their skills and knowledge to support identification, mitigation, deterrence, and defeat of emerging threats to U.S., allied, and partner personnel, goals, and strategic interests. Our multi-function teams operate from the strategic to the tactical level, providing relevant support that enables strategic planning, operational execution, and individual servicemember actions.
We provide advanced intelligence support across DoD and the broader IC. Our expert SOAS analysts provide a wide array of intelligence support that enables customer planning, targeting, and situational understanding. CACI's T3O ensures our analysts and their support remain on the cutting edge through ongoing training, technology integration, and application of best practices.
We have a deep understanding of special operations and sensitive activities, where certain operations, programs, and activities need additional control mechanisms to prevent and avoid compromise to ensure mission success. Our SOAS Group sensitive activities support safeguards these activities while employing our proprietary methodologies to achieve effects at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of conflict and crisis.
Our skilled sensitive activities advisors provide alternatives and amplify the effects of traditional targeting practices through planning and integration support for special action programs (SAPs), integrated joint special technical operations (IJSTOs), alternative or compensatory control measures (ACCMs), and other sensitive programs.
These alternative approaches are growing more necessary, as our customers face more sophisticated adversaries and opponents in increasingly ambiguous conflicts and crises with less on-the-ground U.S. military and U.S. Government presence.
We recognize the importance of U.S. military efforts to develop and generate trained and ready forces that are organized and equipped to operate in a rapidly evolving global mission environment. CACI's SOAS Group provide customers with expert advisors, trainers, and mentors who combine practical and relevant experience with technical expertise in training development and delivery. We believe the ability to properly develop and deliver training must be matched with the underlying practical experience of the instructor to provide the best possible value to customers.
We understand the critical role U.S. Government law enforcement agencies play in protecting our nation. Law enforcement support requires skilled analysts and integrators who understand the criminal justice process and know how to leverage data, technology, and analytical rigor that enables successful prosecutions while protecting the evidence gathering process. We believe the ability to develop and deliver relevant and timely analysis is built upon the practical experience and professional judgment of our SOAS Group analysts and integrators.
