Annual Employee Engagement Survey

CACI is committed to creating candid dialogues and fostering a positive work environment. We recognize the importance of receiving feedback from our employees on a consistent basis. It’s no surprise that our recent Employee Engagement Pulse Surveys demonstrate CACI being consistently listed more favorable than U.S. national and high-tech company norms in several key categories including: Sustainable Engagement, Ethics & Integrity, Empowerment, and Work Flexibility. Sustainable Engagement and Ethics & Integrity stand out as our clear strengths across all external benchmarks because CACI continues to invest in our people. That’s why CACI significantly improved across all categories in the Employee Engagement Pulse Survey, with not one single item declining with statistical significance.

CACI understands the importance of evolving in order to stay competitive and grow, for our employees and customers. Our engagement results speak volumes – just more evidence that employees feel a sense of pride to work at CACI – and that feeling is reciprocated.

Communities of Practice Program and Training Program

Employee training and development is vital to our corporate culture. Through CVU, employees not only learn through online training courses, but also through peer collaboration. CVU provides employees access to several Communities of Practice (CoP) specializing in a field or topic. Employees can connect with peers on discussion boards, participate in monthly webinars led by subject matter experts, and access and share resources and best practices with their community. Several CoPs sponsor a Learning Academy, which provides curated learning paths employees can use to prepare for technical certifications.

Program-Level Job Trainings and Certifications

At CACI, we pride ourselves in bringing people together to knowledge share. Our CoPs meet regularly with colleagues across the company to network and learn about the latest technologies that will support them in their roles. The communities bring together employees with the common purpose to grow, collaborate, advance tradecraft, and leverage each other to help CACI customers.

CACI Learning Academies are available through CVU which include certification resources, including exam reimbursement, to help employees achieve critical information systems and business credentials such as the CompTIA Security+, A+, Network+, ITIL, Amazon Web Services (AWS), PMP, ServiceNow, and more.

Project Management Academy

Project management is one of our key competencies. More than 700 CACI employees have earned the PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and of that group, over 300 Project Managers attend CACI’s annual PM Summit that is designed for face-to-face learning, collaboration, and networking.

Diversity & Inclusion

Embracing our diversity and inclusion mission.

CACI’s diversity and inclusion (D&I) mission is to be the place where people with different backgrounds, identities, and talent work collaboratively and passionately to drive the future of national security. This connects D&I directly to CACI’s enterprise national security mission that includes delivering the expertise and technology that enables our government to deliver cost-effective and high-quality support to all Americans.

To be successful in this endeavor, CACI places at the center of its company culture a focus on inclusion, where our people bring their genuine selves to work, embrace each other’s differences, collaborate and innovate, and are passionate about making a difference for our customers, our people, and the community. Our Path to Inclusion movement helps build cultural awareness and our internal mobility program and Employee Resource Groups help build a pipeline of diverse future leaders.

We give back to our communities by engaging with national and local Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) organizations to advance STEM education in K-12 and beyond, helping open STEM opportunities for students, while building a pipeline of diverse future talent. In addition, CACI partners with Minority Serving Institutions to help students transition successfully to workplace, and we offer robust internship opportunities through our University Program. Finally, we proudly support organizations focused on employment for disabled veterans, as part of the Continue Your Mission outreach campaign aimed at providing veterans with meaningful careers.

Supporting Our Women Workforce

CACI is committed to supporting our professional women and driving their success through our women’s inclusion strategy. Our Women’s Executive Series brings together a community of senior leader women through quarterly events in the wider DC area that are geared to enable networking, support, and professional growth. A key focus of this group is a call to action for each female director level and above to identify a more junior level professional who shows potential to advance in leadership and provide active mentoring. The goal is to help women build relationships through Lead Leaders Program, noted below, CoP networking events, coaching, and mentorship. This ensures building on our future pipeline of women leaders.

Women Leaders
CSR- Mentorship

Mentorship Programs

At CACI, we believe when you become a mentor or protégé, you help create an environment where ideas, questions, and concerns are openly discussed, and where innovation is cultivated. You have the chance to develop your own interpersonal skills and find out more about the company, which helps to increase your knowledge base and facilitate both client service and career growth. Mentors also know they are making a positive difference in the lives of their colleagues, and protégés learn new ways to manage their career growth and potential.

Employees reach out to each other from every geographic location, by email, phone, teleconferences, Skype, and more. The Mentorship Program strives to enhance employees’ professional and leadership development, develop their strategic perspectives and promote organizational goals, create an environment where their ideas, questions and concerns can be openly discussed, and promote direct communication across all levels.

We have even taken this a step further to create the CACI Mentoring Program Lifecycle, which consists of four phases: Connection, Learning, Engagement, and Dissolution, along with resources for both the mentors and mentees for each of the phases.

Leadership Programs

At CACI, we believe leadership is both a priority and privilege and we take pride in our duty to educate and empower our leaders very seriously. The CACI Center for Leadership Excellence (CLE) delivers growth opportunities at all levels – from emerging to seasoned leaders.

Leadership is a priority as it enables us to reach our goals for growth. Leadership is a privilege because it bears a lot of responsibility – for our investors, our customers, and for our people and their livelihoods and careers. It’s not something that is assigned lightly; it is an honor that comes with accountability that warrants attention and development. With this in mind, we make deliberate financial investments in our collective leadership capability. As a start, more than 2,000 employees have completed the First Line Leader Development Program:

  • Lead Organization Program - This program focuses on strategy, innovation, executive presence, and business acumen.
  • Lead Leaders Program - Designed for mid-level leaders who lead other leaders, this program focuses on the people leadership skills and challenges encountered at this level. Its goals are to: create alignment with strategy, demonstrate courage and maturity, to understand how to engage, inspire, and influence others.
  • Lead People Program - This is for first-line leaders who want to grow their leadership skills and increase their competence and confidence with communicating effectively, building, managing and retaining high performing teams, holding self and team accountable, and managing within the law.
