Jeff Wood
Jeff Wood is a senior strategic capture manager supporting business development at CACI International, a Fortune 500™ company with more than 26,000 employees committed to expanding the limits of national security.
Wood joined CACI in 2021 and has more than 32 years of experience in business development, project management, operations, training, and education expertise from positions within industry and the U.S. Army.
From 2003 to 2021, Wood was employed in Northrop Grumman where he held various positions from project management to business development and capture excellence. Prior to that, Wood served in the U.S. Army as an infantryman. He served in the 7th Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division, 1st Cavalry Division, III Corps, and VII Corps as well as several U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command postings. Wood retired as a lieutenant colonel in 2003.
Wood is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Airborne School, Infantry Officers’ basic course, Ranger School, Jungle Warfare School, Pathfinder School, Infantry Officers’ advanced course, Long Range Surveillance Leader course, Battalion Logistics Officer (S4) course, Combined Arms Service Staff School (CAS3), and the Command and General Staff College (CGSC). Wood deployed to Panama, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq while serving in the U.S. Army.
Wood earned a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Texas A&M University and holds a Master of Education from the University of Houston. He has completed advanced leadership and executive development programs at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
