CACI Honored for Women Veterans Hiring
CACI was honored for its success in hiring female veterans by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services at the 2018 Virginia Women Veterans Summit. Virginia’s former First Lady, Dorothy McAuliffe, presented CACI representatives the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program award for the most hires (more than 500) among large enterprise companies (1000+ employees) since the V3 program was established in 2012.
The state-sponsored V3 Program promotes the recruiting, hiring, and retaining of veterans. This is the first summit to focus exclusively on women veterans. The event, held in Alexandria, VA, brings together veterans, community leaders, employers, and government agencies from the federal, state, and local levels to raise awareness about the services and benefits offered specifically for women veterans.
The summit award continues a history of veteran hiring excellence by the company. In both 2016 and 2015, CACI was honored with the V3 Virginia Governor’s award for the most Virginian veterans hired (males and females), in the enterprise company category. Veterans comprise more than one-third of employees at CACI. Employing veterans is a top priority, and the company’s culture of innovation, integrity, and mission accomplishment makes it a natural choice for those affiliated with the military.
