CACI Celebrates 243rd Birthday of the U.S. Army
June 14 marks the 243rd anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Army, and CACI joins all Americans in honoring America’s soldiers on this day. We have proudly supported our Army customers for over 40 years, and make an enduring commitment to vigilantly serve their missions now and in the future.
At CACI, we know that soldiers do more than fight and win wars. Their presence anywhere in the world serves as a deterrent to our enemies and assurance to our allies. They train America’s world partners in protecting themselves and preserving the rule of law. And they assist at home and around the world by delivering aid and support during emergencies and natural catastrophes.
These are just a few reasons our work with the Army is so important. We deliver solutions and services that ensure the Army sustains its competitive edge over adversaries. We provide Army leadership with technologies that advance missions and safeguard troops. We make sure that senior Army decision-makers have the best available intelligence – and the tools to act on it.
On the 243rd Army birthday, we encourage all Americans to learn more about America’s soldiers. A great way to start is by visiting any of these sites:
- An account of the Army’s founding by U.S. Army Center of Military History Historian John R. Maass
- Five defining Army Reserve moments
- Women in the Army
- African-American soldiers in WWI
- Origins of the Army flag
- History of Army uniforms
- History of Army weapons
- Army Birthday events
This June 14th, please join CACI in honoring the men and women of the U.S. Army and their vital contributions to defending our nation.
