CACI Observes Armed Forces Day 2015

CACI is proud to honor our nation's military on Armed Forces Day, May 16, 2015. This year's theme is "Honor Those Who Answered the Call to Serve." At CACI, it is our privilege to do so.

From solutions to ensure information dominance on the battlefield, to systems that integrate electronic health records for veterans, CACI provides tools and services that help our government support and safeguard our military men and women. We value the integrity and commitment of our Armed Forces members, actively recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans, who make up 28 percent of our employees. And we make "serving those who served" a pillar of our corporate philanthropy, as we support a wide range of military and wounded warrior support organizations.

These twin commitments can be seen in two recent CACI recognitions.

On April 24, CACI Cares, our company-wide effort to promote and advance philanthropic activities, was named Best Corporate Volunteer Program by Volunteer Fairfax. This is a reflection of CACI's strong track record of volunteerism, including providing major support for the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore. CACI employees regularly serve at events for wounded veterans and their families at the Warrior and Family Care Center at Fort Belvoir, Va.

On May 1, CACI was selected to's 2015 Most Valuable Employers for Military List for the seventh consecutive year. This recognition exemplifies our commitment to being an industry leader in recruiting, hiring, and mentoring veterans, disabled veterans, military spouses, and caregivers of disabled veterans. CACI has already hired over 1,500 veterans so far in fiscal 2015, almost one-third of whom are wounded warriors.

Armed Forces Day can be traced back to 1949, when Louis Johnson, Secretary of the newly formed Department of Defense (DoD), announced the new holiday to replace separate Army, Navy, and Air Force Days. Just as DoD united the military branches, the third Saturday in May would now unify celebrations honoring all those who serve our nation through the Armed Forces.

CACI thanks and honors every member of the Armed Forces, today and every day, for continuing to answer the call for a strong, just, and free America.
