CACI Pledges Support for Employees in the National Guard and Army Reserve
At a special ceremony, CACI Chief Human Resources Officer Larry Clifton signed a Statement of Support with Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense office, reaffirming CACI's commitment to its Guard and Reserve employees. The statement signifies that the company provides its managers and supervisors with the tools to effectively manage Guard and Reserve employees; appreciates the values, leadership, and unique skills service members bring to the workforce; encourages opportunities to hire service members; and supports our nation's service members and their families in peace, in crises, and in war.
At a signing ceremony at CACI Headquarters, the company recently re-pledged its commitment to supporting employees who are also members of the National Guard and Reserve.
According to ESGR Executive Director Ronald Young, "Supportive employers like CACI are critical to maintaining the readiness and strength of the nation's Guard and Reserve units and allow Guardsmen and Reservists the opportunity to serve our country more effectively and with greater peace of mind. By signing this Statement of Support, CACI sends a clear message they stand committed to their military employees and recognize the integrity, global perspective and proven leadership they bring to the workplace."
Mr. Clifton, who signed the pledge at CACI Headquarters in Arlington, Va., said, "CACI is deeply committed to serving those who have served our nation – this has been part of our heritage and culture from our very beginning over 50 years ago. Our veteran employees are dedicated, innovative, and passionate about the work they perform and have a first-hand appreciation for the excellence CACI provides. Our military hiring and development efforts are continually recognized as a national leader and benchmark for providing veterans and their spouses with rewarding careers. We're extremely proud of all our veteran employees."
CACI has an exceptional track record of supporting America's servicemen and women, as demonstrated by its long history of support and special relationship with the ESGR. In 2011, ESGR and the U.S. Navy Reserve honored the company as a top employer of National Guard members and Navy Reservists. Additionally, numerous CACI managers have been nominated by their employees to receive ESGR recognition, and in 2010 CACI was recognized with the Above and Beyond Award from ESGR's Virginia chapter.
