Bill suffered a shipboard accident on the USS G.C. Marshall, a nuclear ballistic submarine, which landed him in the Charleston, SC Naval Hospital. He notes that the circumstances surrounding his injury are classified, but notes that it required his assignment to limited duty and removal from his beloved submarine service.
Bill has been working with CACI since February 1982. "My tenure with CACI has included many projects with NAVAIR, DOJ, U.S. Customs, the White House Communications Agency and NAVSEA," he says.
He goes on to point out, "As configuration manager, I am responsible for the Air Force baseline configuration of both DoD unclassified and classified networks, including management of tasks for security and documentation."
Despite his injury, nothing slows Bill down, and both CACI and the Air Force are grateful for his unwavering determination.
