Mark R. Kloock, after serving 23 years in the Army, is still active in the Army Reserves with a current rank of Major. His responsibilities as the logistics liaison officer during Operation Enduring Freedom included coordinating the logistical needs of deploying units at some nine military installations in the U.S. and processing troops and equipment to and from Iraq and Afghanistan. This experience now serves him well as a Logistics Engineer at CACI for the Mission Systems Group.

He was injured while stationed at Fort Lee, VA during Operation Enduring Freedom, and came to the company after being interviewed at a Hiring For Heroes job fair. Mark now works at CACI's Eatontown, NJ facility supporting the U.S. Army Project Manager, Tactical Radio Communications Systems at Ft. Monmouth. "I guess they saw what they were looking for," he says, "because they don't have to retrain people in ethics, and integrity, and leadership skills."

And that's because of the linkage between the guiding values learned in the Army and those of CACI.

"This company is strongly founded on similar ethics," he observes, "and those values correlate well with Army leadership training. People have a higher standard that they keep to - you know integrity, honesty. CACI culture and military standards they go hand-in-hand and reflect directly in the company's support of the military."

Mark appreciates the fact that "CACI supports my time in the Army Reserves - the attitude is 'whatever you need to do, go ahead and do it.' Sure, it's the law, but it's good that my managers have always been so accommodating for Reserve duty and training."
