CACI Supports the USOCACI is a proud and long-term patron of the United Service Organizations (USO). The USO is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to support our troops by providing morale, welfare and recreational services. Through the USO of Metropolitan Washington (USO-Metro), CACI has co-sponsored or provided dollars for a number of fund raising events and other projects the USO is undertaking. In addition, CACI President of U.S. Operations Bill Fairl serves on USO-Metro's Board. USO-Metro administers several programs and services for local military and their families, including Ticketline, emergency housing and food assistance programs, job fairs, holiday programs, hospital visits and orientation programs. USO-Metro relies solely on special event fundraising and the generosity of private individuals and corporations to fund its programs and allocates 91% of its annual budget to provide troop support. The original intent of Congress - and enduring style of USO delivery - is to represent the American people by extending a touch of home to the military. The USO currently operates more than 130 centers worldwide, including ten mobile canteens located in the continental U.S. and overseas in Germany, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Qatar, Korea, Afghanistan, Guam and Kuwait. Service members and their families visit USO centers more than 5.3 million times each year.
