How TWIST works as a real time tracker

1. The user selects an object of interest in the first frame by dragging a red box across it with their mouse.
2. TWIST calculates the object complexity of the boxed portion of the frame.
3. In the next frame and each subsequent frame TWIST locates an area where the complexity most closely matches the object complexity from the previous frame and puts a yellow tracking box around it.

This video shows CACI's TWIST technique in action. It was made from a screen capture of the TWIST application running in real time (nothing was canned). A variety of different objects were tracked in continuous sequences.
