CACI MTL has an extensive inventory of computer-based, instrumentation and equipment for monitoring, collecting, storing and processing test site environmental data (e.g., surface weather data, contact temperature data, imaging radiometric data, spectro-radiometric survey data) under a full range of field conditions. This inventory, which includes both company owned and government furnished equipment, is available to support other government contracts.
Because our instrumentation is computer-based, we are able collect test site data in digital formats, supporting efficient and cost effective data analysis, processing and reporting. For example, we can readily publish reports using CD-ROM technology, including text, photographic documentation, illustrations and various data in electronic format.
Our field support inventory includes
- Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectro-radiometer (for absolute radiance and emissivity measurements in the 2-14 micro-m region)
- Field ruggedized analytical spectrometer (0.35-2.5 micro-m region)
- Mid-wavelength infrared imaging radiometer
- Digital imaging field reflectance microscope
- Field ruggedized, NIST traceable radiance standard for absolute radiometer calibrations
- A wide range of calibration panels
- Four active thermal calibration sources
- Global Positioning System-based survey equipment
- Conventional 35mm and digital cameras
- A pontoon boat mobile laboratory
- Several surface and upper atmospheric (radiosonde) meteorological systems
- Meteorological buoys
- Surface and subsurface water temperature monitors
- Contact and non-contact temperature measuring systems
- Survey tape measures
- Compasses
- Inclinometer
- Air-to-ground Handy Talkies
We also have access to additional specialty instrumentation and equipment to augment the above inventory as required for specific program requirements.
