LSS provides a comprehensive tool for online entry and tracking of all inventory control, material requisitioning, issue and receipt processes. It provides status to the requisitioner, and maintenance status tracking by serial number and document number at the support activity.
All stock data contained within LSS is accessed through a set of formatted menus and entry screens. Stock records and inventory data (including substitute/interchangeable items) are automatically accessed and displayed when the user selects an item for transaction processing.
The system includes online data integrity checks for user entries, error identification and corrective action recommendations. Print screen option is available for all screens.
