CACI recognizes the importance of continuing education for our employees as well as for the company. We are pleased to offer the following Tuition Reimbursement Program to full-time employees. Please be advised that the program is subject to change at any time.

Annual Reimbursement Amount
- Each year you may receive tuition reimbursement of up to 10% of your annual CACI salary
- Your tuition reimbursement limit is based on your base salary at the time your request for reimbursement for any specific course is submitted
- The 10% annual limit is calculated according to CACI's fiscal year (July 1 - June 30)
- Be aware that tuition reimbursement payments in excess of $5250 per calendar year are taxable income
Manager Discretion
All tuition reimbursement is at the discretion of your manager within the general guidelines set forth in this program description. Please consult with your manager prior to enrollment.
Eligible Courses and Programs of Study
- Only courses taken from a regionally accredited college or university are eligible
Check a school's regional accreditation - Courses must earn college credits (not CEUs) and have an associated letter or pass/fail grade
- All self initiated job related courses are eligible, at the discretion of your manager
- Non-job related courses which are required for an approved degree program are eligible, at the discretion of your manager
- Courses at universities outside the U.S. for those employees whose regular assignment is a non-U.S. location
- For a degree program you must complete one course in your major field of study for each reimbursement request for a non-job related course until all the requirements for your major field of study have been met. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of your managerfor prerequisites for courses in your major field of study (e.g., a math requirement for an accounting course).
- To be eligible a course must not require attendance during regular working hours or otherwise negatively affect your work performance
Eligible Costs
- The following items are eligible for tuition reimbursement
- Tuition
- Matriculation fees at an external, regionally accredited university offering only distance learning (limited to one year's fees for an associates degree, two year's fees for a bachelors degree)
- Fees for prior learning assessment within an approved degree program
- Standardized examinations for which college credit can be earned
- Items not eligible for tuition reimbursement include but are not limited to
- Activity fees
- Admissions fees
- Application fees
- Books
- Equipment
- Lab fees
- Materials
- Parking
- Supplies
- Any other such ancillary educational costs
- No reimbursement will be made for any expense paid or payable by other sources (i.e., veterans benefits, scholarships, federal or state income tax credits)
Requesting Tuition Reimbursement
- Once you have identified the courses you wish to take, verify that the institution offering the courses is regionally accredited
- Confirm with your manager that your course of study is appropriate for tuition reimbursement
- Complete the enrollment process at your school or university
- Complete Tuition Reimbursement Form 404. Indicate all courses in which you are currently enrolled and ensure that your first level manager's signature has been obtained (for individual classes costing $2000 or more a second level manager's signature is also required)
- Keep all original documents and fax the tuition form and supporting documents from the college/university to CACI Human Resources, 703-841-4496
If you are making a request for a first-half reimbursement you must submit a copy of your signed Tuition Reimbursement Form 404 along with these supporting documents
- Documentation from your college or university indicating that you are registered for the course(s) listed on your Tuition Reimbursement Form
- A paid invoice from your college or university (if deferred payment or another payment plan applies contact CACI Human Resources 800-531-3875, option #4 for details)
If you are making a request for a second-half reimbursement you must do so within 60 days of the scheduled ending date of your courses. You must also have earned a passing grade (C or above) for the courses. Please submit a copy of your signed Tuition Reimbursement Form 404 along with documentation from your school or university indicating your grade for the courses.
If you are making a request to be reimbursed for the full amount of your tuition you must do so within 60 days of the scheduled ending date of your courses. You must also have earned a passing grade (C or above) for the courses. Submit a copy of your signed Tuition Reimbursement Form 404 along with these supporting documents
- Documentation from your school or university indicating your grade for the courses.
- A paid invoice from your college or university (if deferred payment or another payment plan applies contact CACI Human Resources 800-531-3875, option #4 for details)
Repayment of Tuition Reimbursement to CACI
- If you
- Receive a failing grade (D or F)
- Quit the course
- Do not complete the course within 60 days of the scheduled end date, or
- Are involuntarily terminated for cause prior to the completion of the course
You are no longer eligible for second-half payment and will owe CACI the first-half payment, which will be due immediately.
- If you voluntarily terminate your employment within one year of the check issue date of the first-half or final payment for any courses you must reimburse CACI 100% of the tuition paid for the courses. This payment is due the company upon notice of termination and prior to final termination processing.
Part-time employees are not eligible for this benefit.
