CACI’s Kyle Pula, PhD, to Present Short Course at AMOS Conference
CACI research scientist Kyle Pula, PhD, will present a short course on machine learning at the Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies (AMOS) Conference on Tuesday, September 11. Dr. Pula and Richard Linares, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Robert Furfaro, PhD, Associate Professor at the University of Arizona, will survey recent advances in machine learning as they apply to space situational awareness (SSA). These advances present important opportunities for the SSA community as it faces ever increasing scope, sensing modalities, and data volumes. The trio will also examine case studies in techniques being applied to current SSA problems.
CACI’s Space Operations and Resiliency team delivers technology and support to launch, operate, and exploit systems in the space domain. The AMOS Conference will take place from September 11-14 on the island of Maui in Hawaii. For more information, visit https://amostech.com.
