JQUAD+/Joint Simulation System (JSIMS)

Developed by CACI for the DoD, JQUAD+ is a suite of information operations warfare models that support joint battle staff training events. (JQUAD+ is the information operation component to complement JSIMS.) JNETS, JOISIM, JCAS and JECEWSI comprise the four original JQUAD models. A Joint Ground Game (JGG) was added later to form JQUAD+.

JQUAD+ is certified as part of the Joint Training Confederation. JQUAD+.

JQUAD features

  • Warrior Preparation Center (WPC)
  • Joint Training Analysis and Simulation Center (JTASC)
  • Command and Control Training and Innovation Group(C2TIG)
  • Korean Air Simulation Center (KASC)

CACI was the first prime contractor for JECEWSI (Joint Electronic Combat/Electronic Warfare Simulation) for the Joint Electronic Warfare Center (JEWC). In subsequent contractual efforts CACI remained the prime as JECEWSI evolved into JQUAD as the JEWC changed missions, initially to become the Joint Command and Control Warfare Center and then the Joint Information Operations center.

In the development and application of all these complex training simulations CACI delivers capabilities and expertise developed through more than 45 years of simulation experience.

JQUAD+ Architecture

CACI is the prime contractor implementing the information operations component involved in battle staff training (such as electronic warfare) of JSIMS for the DoD. Working with the Joint Information Operations Center, CACI incorporated some of the capabilities of JQUADS+ into JSIMS

  • Airborne collection systems
  • Electronic warfare, including standoff jamming and self protect jamming against radar

JSIMS provides a readily available, operationally valid environment for commanders in chief and joint organizations to conduct simulated joint training exercises.

JSIMS also provides a realistic environment for organizations to

  • Train subordinate war fighting commanders
  • Develop doctrine and tactics
  • Formulate and assess operational plans
  • Conduct mission rehearsal
  • Define operational requirements
  • Provide input to the acquisition process
