To help a U.S. Attorneys Office (USAO) manage documents for a small case in house CACI evaluated commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software packages and recommended ones that had all the functionality they needed in one user friendly system. Then we integrated the COTS products so they could talk to each other. To do this, we had to take documents processed in one application and open them up in another.
