Award Winning Data Warehouse for FDIC

CACI partnered with the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to implement an enterprise-wide, web-based financial data warehouse (FDW). A primary project goal was to develop web-based information applications that would provide intuitive access to FDIC's financial data for users at all levels of the organization. To achieve that goal CACI

• Defined the multi-tier architecture of the FDW
• Developed programming and stylistic standards
• Analyzed functional requirements
• Co-led development teams
• Designed front-end interfaces
• Guided strategies around training and documentation
• Modeled data and information flows
• Conducted stress testing, performance monitoring and performance management

While developing the FDW CACI also helped FDIC better define and control its web development environment, authoring white papers and technical memoranda to document our analysis and recommendations for improving the environment.

CACI also designed a performance centered standard GUI interface across the FDW's three information applications. This work for FDIC was recognized in CIO Magazine as one of the top 50 intranet sites in the country.
