SIMPROCESS utilizes ^© by Macrovision Corporation for license management. The SIMPROCESS help desk will issue a license file (license.dat) that will manage the number of copies for your organization. The license files maybe tied to an individual PC or issued to a license server that will manage the number of seats purchased.

• Professional Edition - contains all the features and capabilities of SIMPROCESS, no limits on model size
• University Edition - contains all the features and capabilities of SIMPROCESS but has the following limitations
  • Fifty processes and activities
  • License file limited to 14 months
• Run-Time Edition - can run any model built in SIMPROCESS Professional but has the following limitations if you construct models with a runtime license file
  • Fifty processes/activities
  • Five entity types
  • Five resource types
  • None of the advanced features are accessible
