CACI Recognizes Servicemen and Women During National Military Appreciation Month
May is designated by Congress as National Military Appreciation Month. That's a fine acknowledgment to our servicemen and women, and at CACI we know how important it is to make every day one on which we recognize all those who fight for the freedoms we enjoy.
Even as our nation's warfighters continue to counter global terrorism in Afghanistan, Iraq and in other less reported places, we are all united in our efforts to support them with an array of programs that provide all the tools they need to prevail.
Our goal is nothing less than to deliver strong capabilities at the intersection of intelligence and security that have the greatest value to our clients and military personnel in theater. We believe intelligence, combined with strong security, represents America's first line of defense, and these are the capabilities we are building in partnership with our federal customers.
And, as with everything we do, all of us at CACI are guided by the principles of ethics and integrity – of always "doing the right thing" – that have served us so well over the past 46 years.
Our support for those in the military is exemplified by our CACI's Deploying Talent - Creating Careers initiative, which identifies qualified disabled veterans to hire into open CACI positions. This program provides meaningful careers for talented veterans with disabilities, while contributing to our mission of supporting vital national priorities. It is our way of doing the right thing for the people who served our country and growing our business with the best talent available. In addition, our Project Philanthropy program supports numerous activities focused on serving our nation's military. These include the new USO lounge at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport; Cause (Comfort for America's Uniformed Services), an organization that brings comfort and recreation into the lives of America's warfighters recuperating from wounds and injuries; TAPS, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors that provides support for the families of American warfighters lost in combat; the Special Operations Warrior Foundation that provides financial help and educational counseling to children of special operations personnel killed in training accidents or in operational missions; and the Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports Project that supports wounded service members as they rebuild their lives.
We are proud to serve as a trusted asset in support of our nation's vital missions. CACI honors and salutes those who defend our lives and liberty at home and abroad, and we hope for their safe return.
