CACI is proud to have served as co-sponsor for the University of Maryland University College’s An Evening in Cyberspace, a black-tie gala held April 2 at National Harbor in Maryland. The event brought together business leaders, scholars, government officials, researchers and practitioners to celebrate UMUC’s new programs in the field of cybersecurity. General Keith B. Alexander, director of the National Security Agency and commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, delivered the keynote address. CACI’s sponsorship of this event will help fund scholarships for students entering UMUC’s cyber programs, which include a bachelor of science and master of science in cybersecurity, and a master of science in cybersecurity policy. To date, more than 2,000 students have been admitted to UMUC’s cybersecurity programs.
