This weekend we will remember those who have died in our nation's service as we celebrate Memorial Day. Since 1868 and for 140 years, Americans have held this day in reverence and honor, placing flowers and flags on the gravesides of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and American values.

At CACI, we will focus our thoughts on these great American heroes and their patriotism. We daily support those in the military with our Deploying Talent - Creating Careers program, which provides qualified disabled veterans with meaningful careers at CACI. Our Project Philanthropy program also supports numerous activities focused on our nation's military, including the new USO lounge at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport; Cause (Comfort for America's Uniformed Services), an organization that brings comfort and recreation into the lives of America's warfighters recuperating from wounds and injuries; TAPS, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors that supports families of American warfighters lost in combat; the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides financial help and educational counseling to children of special operations personnel killed in training accidents or in operational missions; and the Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports Project, which supports wounded service members as they rebuild their lives.

Finally, Memorial Day reminds us of our important mission to assist clients in their number one challenge: countering global terrorism by delivering timely and essential solutions at the nexus of intelligence and security. So as you enjoy a welcomed respite this weekend, I ask that you take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices that our service members and their families make every day to ensure our freedoms. And I thank each of you for ensuring our unwavering commitment to being the very best in all we do.
