January 20, 2009 is a day of special significance to our nation as President-elect Barack Obama becomes the 44th President of the United States of America. As we witness this historic transition of power on the Capitol's West Front at the stroke of noon, let us offer our congratulations. Let us take pride in how our country of more than 300 million citizens moves so peacefully, so purposefully, from one administration to the next. It is a tribute to the judgment and wisdom of this nation's founders and the living document that is our Constitution.
Both news reports and comments from Mr. Obama's staff indicate his inaugural address will emphasize shared accountability and responsibility on the part of our government, our financial and business institutions, and the communities and individuals who make up our great democracy. This is entirely fitting as we face - together - the challenges posed by worldwide recession and the ongoing threat of global terrorism. Here at CACI, we must all work together to help our clients secure our nation and keep it safe from those who wish us harm.
As a trusted provider of professional services and information technology, CACI also places the greatest emphasis on accountability and responsibility to our clients. This is why we make ethics, integrity, innovation and national service the hallmarks of our culture and our business strategy. This is why our vision is always to be the very best in all we do.
As we celebrate our democracy tomorrow I thank you for your continued commitment and dedication to our nation and our company.
