CACI's New Asymmetric Threat Report on Cybersecurity Now Available
Proceedings From Fifth Symposium Co-Sponsored by CACI, U.S. Naval Institute, and Center for Security Policy
CACI's new Asymmetric Threat report, produced with co-sponsors the U.S. Naval Institute (USNI) and Center for Security Policy (CSP), is now available online at asymmetricthreat.net.
The report publishes recommendations from the fifth symposium in the Asymmetric Threat series, focused on Cyber Threats to National Security and co-sponsored by CACI, USNI, and CSP. The publication, Keeping the Nation's Industrial Base Safe From Cyber Threats, identifies the need for the U.S. to aggressively pursue measures to counter both external and insider threats to our infrastructure as part of a comprehensive cybersecurity policy.
Keynote speakers included Ambassador John R. Bolton, former U.S. permanent representative to the United Nations; the Honorable James S. Gilmore, III, former governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia and chair of the Gilmore Commission on terrorism; and Frances Townsend, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and former Homeland Security Advisor to President George W. Bush. Panelists included leaders and experts from government, industry, and academia, with topics ranging from industry concerns to the view from Capitol Hill.
As a thought leader in national security, CACI takes pride in our leadership support for the Asymmetric Threat symposia, which promote an important national dialogue on safeguarding our homeland.
The print edition of the report will be available on September 26.
