CACI Commemorates the 237th Birthday of the U.S. Army
Today, June 14, 2012, the United States Army celebrates 237 years of answering the call to duty on behalf of this great nation. From the American Revolution to the continuing worldwide challenge of those who seek to harm our nation – American soldiers have always been willing to put their "boots on the ground" and fight for the freedoms and the way of life we enjoy.
On June 14, in 1775, colonial soldiers banded together in an all-volunteer force to fight for independence and a democratic way of life. And now, as we go about our daily lives, Army soldiers are still volunteering for our nation ... with some paying the ultimate price to defend America in the 21st century. These men and women are the strength of our nation. In almost 80 countries around the world, they are the ultimate instrument of our national resolve.
As a trusted partner, CACI works side-by-side with our U.S. Army clients to provide the services and solutions they need to support our soldiers as they protect our nation.
We salute the U.S. Army on this birthday, and every day.
