CACI Veterans Outreach Initiatives Highlighted on Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Newsmakers Online Program
When the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Newsmakers (V3) online video program wanted to hear from Virginia's top employers of military veterans, CACI got the call. The company earned top honors from V3 for the most veterans hired in Virginia in the company's fiscal year 2016 – the second consecutive year CACI has received the recognition.
As a result, CACI Vice President of Veterans Outreach, Maj. Gen. Gary Patton, USA (Ret), and Denyse Gordon, CACI Senior Manager of Veteran Support and Inclusion, were recently featured on the show discussing CACI's veteran outreach initiatives. The complete segment can be viewed here.
Employing veterans is a top priority at CACI, and the company recognizes the immense value in the talent, commitment, and integrity that veterans bring to customer missions. As Maj. Gen. Patton mentions during the segment, CACI views hiring veterans as a triple win: the veteran wins by finding a meaningful and promising career; the customer wins by getting a trained employee; and CACI wins by serving its customers and military in a purposeful way.
CACI's current veteran recruiting campaign, "Continuing Your Mission," highlights numerous CACI career fields, aligns them with military occupational specialties, and links them to jobs for which the company is currently hiring. CACI has dedicated programs to recruit, hire, integrate, develop, mentor, advance, and advocate for veterans and their families at all levels of the company.
The V3 program is an official Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Veterans Services program, whose mission is to educate and train employers throughout the Commonwealth on the value of Virginia's veterans, and to help employers connect with military men and women to maximize the productivity of their workforce.
CACI offers veterans an opportunity to continue their national service on project teams supporting national security and government modernization. CACI was voted a Washington Post Top Workplace by thousands of DC-area CACI employees responding to an independent survey on the company's work environment.
