CACI President and CEO Ken Asbury Recognized in 2017 Executive Mosaic Wash100 for His Leadership in Government Contracting
For the fourth consecutive year, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury has been named to Executive Mosaic's Wash100, the premier group of private and public sector leaders selected as the most influential figures in the government contracting sector and recognized for their push to drive vision, innovation, and achievement for American citizens.
Mr. Asbury's recognition is a direct reflection of CACI's success in delivering innovative solutions and services for its customers' critical missions and highlights the accomplishments of CACI's talented professionals, who serve the company's customers with ethics and integrity.
Under Mr. Asbury's leadership, CACI supports government modernization to more efficiently meet national challenges with such programs as the Army's integrated pay and personnel system (IPPS-A), which was developed by CACI and will be the largest human resources system of its kind in the world when completed. IPPS-A will allow all U.S. Army personnel to access all of their human resources information, such as paystubs and performance reviews, using just one tool.
CACI also helps safeguard our nation by providing cutting-edge technology with such solutions as SkyTracker™, the company's proprietary sensor system that stops the threat of unlawful commercial drones, or unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). SkyTracker protects national airspace and valuable assets by quickly detecting, identifying, and tracking unlawful UAS.
As noted in the Wash100 accompanying article published in GovConExec, CACI has successfully executed on its market-aligned strategy to pursue larger, more enduring programs, such as the $446 million CAMMO contract to support the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network. This contract award is a concrete example of the enhanced capabilities and customers that CACI's acquisition of L-3 National Security Solutions brings to the company.
