CACI Remembers 9/11
Patriot Day, September 11, is the time our nation sets aside to honor those who were lost during the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001. It is also a day, perhaps above all others, that reminds us at CACI why the work we do is so important.
On the day 15 years ago, CACI people were with their customers at the Pentagon and helped evacuate survivors. A CACI team at the State Department kept emergency communications going, and our New Jersey employees assisted first responders after of the Trade Center's collapse.
Since then, the threats facing our country have grown increasingly diverse and complex, and CACI has strengthened its resolve to support national security: We built new intelligence capabilities to empower decision-makers across government, intelligence, and defense agencies. We developed new technologies to safeguard our military men and women, and cyber solutions to protect critical infrastructure from electronic attack. And we support the readiness of our military to protect the nation at a moment's notice.
Also this year, in close proximity to 9/11, CACI and its partners, the Association of Old Crow and Center for Security Policy, are co-sponsoring the ninth Asymmetric Threat Symposium "Offset Strategies to Prevail Against Asymmetric Threats," on September 22, 2016. CACI Executive Chairman Dr. J.P. (Jack) London and Board member Dr. Warren Phillips founded the symposia series in 2008 to promote a national dialogue on defeating precisely the kind of asymmetric warfare conducted in the 9/11 attacks. As America's adversaries leverage inexpensive, commercially available technologies to counter U.S. military objectives, the symposium is gathering thought leaders from government, industry, and academia for recommendations on the best national security strategy to offset these threats.
We are proud of our employees for making CACI a trusted partner in America's national security. Their honesty and integrity make a difference to our customers, who know CACI people will always put their missions first, deliver high-quality solutions and services that advance their capabilities, and serve them with the strongest commitment to ethics.
CACI remembers 9/11, and remains ever vigilant in serving our nation.
