CACI Receives Award From Virginia Governor McAuliffe for Veterans Hiring Program
CACI was recognized by the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program for the most veterans hired in Virginia in an Enterprise Company (1,001+ employees). The award was presented by Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe at the 3rd Annual V3 Summit in Richmond, Virginia on August 27th.
The Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program is an official Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Veterans Services Program whose mission is to educate and train employers throughout the Commonwealth on the value of Virginia's veterans, and to help employers connect with our military men and women to maximize the productivity of their workforce.
Veterans make up nearly 30 percent of CACI's current workforce, and our military hiring and development efforts are continually recognized as a triple win: providing veterans with rewarding careers while benefiting our company and customers with their proven leadership, values, and work ethic. Fiscal year 2015 was CACI's best year ever for hiring veterans as we set a record for both the percentage of veterans hired and the number of veterans and disabled veterans joining the company.
At CACI, employing veterans is a priority – not just out of respect for their continuing commitment to America's freedoms, but because they bring exceptional talent, dedication, and good character to customer missions.
