CACI Celebrates 240th Birthday of U.S. Marine Corps
A drill sergeant steps onto the legendary yellow footprints at Parris Island. They symbolize the path every U.S. Marine has embarked on since the Corps' founding on November 10, 1775. Every new recruit steps into them, literally and figuratively. The sergeant is awaiting the arrival of the next new "few and the proud" – the U.S. Marines.
This is the opening scene of a video birthday message delivered by Gen. Robert Neller, 37th Commandant of the Marine Corps. In the video, Gen. Neller reminds the Marines that, although changes have occurred to the Corps over the years, every Marine carries on a legacy of service in the defense of our nation and its freedoms.
CACI is proud to support the Marines. Among the services and solutions we provide are logistics and material readiness support for Marine Corps air stations from coast to coast and in the Pacific; enterprise IT solutions that assist the Corps in managing its information and business processes; and surveillance and reconnaissance technologies that safeguard Marines deployed abroad.
Please join us in congratulating the U.S. Marines Corps for 240 years of valor and dedication in support of our nation. Semper Fidelis!
