Company Wins Recognition for Longevity, Success
Reflecting the company's 40-year record of business success, CACI has won the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) "Hottest Staying Power" award for "stamina, persistence and ability to re-tool" in continuing to meet business challenges.
The NVTC awards celebrate CACI's resilience and ability to grow in response to an evolving business landscape. Since its founding in 1962, CACI has expanded from a two-person operation providing professional consulting services to a half-billion dollar corporation delivering information technology solutions worldwide, with some 5500 employees and more than 90 offices. Along the way, the company established a strong corporate culture that enabled it to follow trends, swiftly retool to meet new needs and continually create opportunities for growth and success.
Commenting on the company's longevity and success, CACI's Chairman and CEO, Dr. J.P. (Jack) London said, "This award recognizes the strength of our CACI culture and our way of doing business. We focus on our customers, and become valued partners in their efforts. We bring innovation and insight to their work and make their objectives become realities. Our robust culture, sound business practices and core group of the most talented professionals in the business let us respond rapidly and fluidly to changing market requirements.
"In a time when our industry has generally seen a downturn," added Dr. London, "CACI and its people not only have survived, but we have prevailed with overwhelming growth. And that's staying power!"
The awards were announced at the NVTC Hot Ticket Awards banquet on June 12 at the Rooftop at Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, VA. CACI joined Anteon, Multicity, SAIC and Software AG as award finalists.
