Robert (Bob) Turner is Executive Vice President and Corporate Ombudsman for CACI International Inc. His role is central in enabling the company to serve its employees, comply with federal regulations, and uphold its corporate culture of honesty, ethics, and integrity.
Mr. Turner has more than 40 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry. He joined CACI in March 2004 with the acquisition of CMS Information Services, Inc., where he had worked since 1989. He began his career there as a senior analyst and quickly moved up the ranks to become Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and finally President and Chief Executive Officer.
After his transition to CACI, Mr. Turner was named Business Operations Director and Chief Risk Officer in 2005. As a key member of the executive leadership team, he brought new efficiencies to corporate business operations and its organization, policies and procedures. In addition, he helped the company enhance and increase its capabilities in identifying, responding to, and mitigating enterprise risks.
In 2009, Mr. Turner turned over his Business Operations Director and Chief Risk Officer duties and began serving as CACI Corporate Ombudsman. He currently also oversees CACI's Facilities and Real Estate organizations.
From 1967 until 1971, Mr. Turner served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. He completed a combat tour in Vietnam with the 5th Marine Regiment as a platoon and company commander.
