John S. Mengucci

John S. Mengucci is the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI), a Fortune 500™, $8.6 billion national security company with 25,000 employees. Under his leadership, CACI continues to achieve sustained operational and financial excellence.

Mengucci joined CACI as chief operating officer (COO) of U.S. Operations in February 2012 and served as CACI’s COO and president, U.S. Operations from July 2012 to June 2017, and CACI’s COO from June 2017 to June 2019. Prior to joining the company, Mengucci served as president of Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Information Systems and Global Solutions - Civil Product Line from 2010 through 2012 and president of Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Information Systems and Global Solutions – Defense Line from 2007 through 2010.

Mengucci received the 2025 Public Company Executive of the Year award by the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) National Capital and the 2024 Technology Good Scout Award by the Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council. He has appeared on both the Executive Mosaic Wash100 list and Virginia Business Magazine’s 500 Power List every year since 2020, was named one of WashingtonExec’s Top 25 Execs to Watch in 2020 and 2019, and was named to the FCW Fed 100 list in 2018.  

Mengucci serves on the board of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, is an active member of the executive committee for the Professional Services Council, and is the vice chair of Clarkson University’s Board of Trustees. He previously served on the Spookstock Foundation board from June 2021 to June 2025. He is also an active member of the Aerospace Industry Association.

Mengucci holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Clarkson College of Technology and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University.
