Description

CACI NSS, Inc. is a prime contractor on the DHS Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE II) program in Functional Category 1 – Service Delivery. The Service Delivery Functional Category of EAGLE II allows for all DHS agencies to procure a full range of services in support of developing, implementing, and maintaining technology to support the DHS Mission and business functions across the entire lifecycle of a program.

NPPD Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM, formerly the US-VISIT Program)
Description: Provided service-oriented architecture (SOA) implementation, functional and automated testing, quality assurance and production support to the Automated Biometric Identification System (IDENT). Subcontractor under Accenture.
Program/Task Order: Smart Border Alliance (SBA)
Period of Performance: 05/28/04 - 1/31/13

 

NPPD OBIM
Description: Provide IV&V testing and quality assurance for IDENT and the Arrival Departure Information System (ADIS). Subcontractor under EIS/EEJV.

Description: Provide operations and maintenance (O&M) and configuration management support for IDENT. Subcontractor under CSC.

USCIS Office of Information Technology (OIT), End User Services Division
Description: Provide functional, performance, and automation testing on over 100 legacy systems and in support of the modernization effort of ELIS. Additional support includes quality assurance and documentation assessments. Subcontractor under EIS/EEJV.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
Description: Provide ILS support for sustainment of L-3 Explosive Detection Systems (EDS) systems deployed at airports throughout the United States. Program includes program management, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance for Examiner 6000/6600 and UPS products which have exited warranty, to meet airport and machine level Operational Availability requirements. Prime contractor.

CACI NSS, Inc.’s Quality Assurance Program
The Quality Assurance (QA) Program is part of the organization’s Enterprise Quality Management System (EQMS). The EQMS is maintains active ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 20000:2011 certifications and has been appraised at CMMI for Development Level 3 and CMMI for Service Capability Level 3. The QA program promotes the application of disciplined and comprehensive technical, operational, and management processes, and ensures that NSS work products reflect management and technical requirements and fulfill the customer expectation for intended use.

Process and Quality Management provides oversight, governance, and audit coordination for the QA program. Quality Assurance activities, including audits, are executed at the business unit and local program levels. Audit results are maintained and accessible centrally. The NSS QA Program is characterized by:

  • An enterprise QA policy
  • Standard QA process assets, standards, checklists, and tools
  • Centrally managed QA program with distributed QA execution by executing operational units
  • Standard tools and processes for preventive and corrective action requests (PCARS)
  • Local resolution of CPARS with enterprise analysis to identify and resolve trends across multiple programs and operational units.

Process and Quality Management provides lead and internal auditors for ISO 9001:2008, ISO 20000:2011, and AS 9100 Rev C, and appraisal team members for CMMI for Development and CMMI for Services.
